We adopted two brothers ages 6 and 7 in March 2002 and the older one is adjusting to life in our home, the younger one is perpetually angry, disobedient, lacking in sympathy or empathy and seems to care little for anyone even himself. His case worker suggested that since he was removed from his biological home at the age of 6 months that he was unable to form the type of attachments that a child should form. We (my husband and I) are at the point of letting the child go because the upheaval to us and the life that his older brother is attempting to establish is so negatively charged.
