PKB After finding myself repeating over and over the story of our daughter,
and after several years of facilitating a support group for mothers of RAD children, I
wrote the story in book form. That book has been published. I hope it will be useful to
other parents when they find themselves explaining and trying to establish credibility
while getting help for their child and support for themselves. Many people have told me
that I have written the story of their lives. It is hard for me to take the step to do the
marketing that this book probably deserves. However, I know that parents who deal with RAD
usually feel that they are the only ones. That feeling is reinforced by the fact that the
RAD child is adept at covering (with strangers) the anger that they express openly to the
mother figure. Phyllis Bosley, author, We Adopted a Dusty Miller: One Family's Journey
